Watch them take flight
Birds of sorrow
Sorrow birds
In my mind
Don’t call tonight
Call tomorrow
Tomorrow is right
When I’ll need you
Fortunately
I’ve been put up on stage
Fortunately
I’ve seen bitter hearts change, change, change
But if I’m being honest
There’s a knife in the drawer that the little ones found
If I’m being honest
There’s a light in the world that the liquor put out
Fortunately
You still seek it out
Force it on me
Watch them take flight
Birds of sorrow
Sorrow birds
In my mind
